QuickRoofBids
Instant Roof Estimates
Call-to-Action / SMS opt-in evidence for TCR and carrier review. QuickRoofBids (and its sibling site QuickDeckBids) send SMS only to a homeowner who submitted the estimate form on our own website, actively checked the optional consent box, and then verified that mobile number with a one-time code. There is no other opt-in path: no purchased lists, no imported contacts, no pre-checked boxes, and no messages to anyone who did not complete this form themselves.

Consent is optional and is never a condition of service. The consent box is labelled "Optional" on the page. A homeowner who leaves it unchecked still gets their full roof estimate, on the same screen, at no cost — they simply receive no text message. Nothing on the site is withheld, delayed, or priced differently based on whether the homeowner agrees to be contacted.

Where the call-to-action lives

The consent checkbox appears at step 4 of the 7-step estimate flow on quickroofbids.com, immediately above the submit button. To reach it yourself, click “Get my roof price” on the homepage and answer the first three questions — first name, email address, and property address. A real U.S. street address is required, because the roof is measured from aerial imagery of that address.

  1. First nameWho the estimate is for.
  2. Email addressSo we can send a written copy of the estimate.
  3. Property addressThe home whose roof is being priced.
  4. Mobile number & optional consentThe form below. The checkbox is the call-to-action and the only SMS opt-in. It is optional.
  5. MeasurementWe measure the roof from current aerial imagery and show the homeowner their own roof.
  6. MaterialHomeowner picks a roofing material.
  7. Estimate shownThe price range is shown to every homeowner who reaches this step, whether or not they checked the consent box.

The measurement and material steps come after the contact steps. This is a commercial decision — an aerial roof measurement is the product, and homeowners were taking it and leaving — and it applies identically to homeowners who check the consent box and to those who do not. Nothing on the site is withheld, delayed, or priced differently based on consent.

Step 4 — the consent step, verbatim

Your estimate is ready.

Tell us who it's for and we'll show your price.

Fields collected at this step: Mobile phone (required) · Project timing (optional). First name and email address were collected on the two preceding steps.

Optional. I agree that QuickRoofBids and the licensed local contractor matched to my address may contact me by phone, text, or email, including by automated technology, about my estimate. Consent is not required to get your estimate or to buy anything — leave this unchecked and we will still show your price. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See SMS Terms, Terms & Privacy Policy.

Unchecked by default Optional — service is never gated on it The box is never pre-selected — the homeowner must actively check it. The sentence names both the sender (QuickRoofBids) and the specific licensed contractor who will receive the lead, by company name, at the moment of consent (one-to-one consent). The exact sentence rendered, the timestamp, and the IP address are stored with every lead.

Step 4b — mobile number verification (double opt-in, consenting homeowners only)

A homeowner who checked the consent box then receives a 6-digit one-time code and enters it, proving the mobile number is theirs before we ever text it. This step exists to protect wrong-number recipients, not to gate the product.

A homeowner who left the box unchecked skips this step entirely and goes straight to their estimate. They are never sent a verification code, never sent a greeting text, and see exactly the same price on the same screen. Consent is not a condition of receiving the estimate or of any transaction.

Verification codes are sent by Twilio Verify from Twilio's own sender pool — they are not sent from the 10DLC number covered by this campaign.

What we send after opt-in

One greeting text within seconds of the form being completed, then brief scheduling and estimate follow-ups relating to the roof estimate that homeowner requested. Message volume is low — a handful per day. No promotional blasts, no recurring marketing series, no third-party offers.

Greeting text — sample
Good morning Hope. This is Sophie with QuickRoofBids. We received your request for a roofing evaluation and we do have technicians in your area today. I wanted to see if that was a good time to have someone come out to perform an inspection and walk you through your options? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

The first name and the time-of-day greeting change per lead. The message is always sent by and signed as QuickRoofBids, the registered brand and the operator of the website the homeowner used. The licensed local contractor matched to their address is named in the consent sentence they checked, and is introduced later in the conversation.
